Show Notes

"The Play That Goes Wrong” at the Walton Arts Center. The play HuffPost calls “the funniest play Broadway has ever seen!” opened Nov. 12 at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville as part of the show’s first national tour. The show is a play within a play, with the inept Cornley University Drama Society attempting to stage an ambitious production of the murder mystery play “The Murder at Haversham Manor.” Everything that can go wrong, does go wrong in this comedy that devolves into chaos. Actor Jemma Jane is the female cover — the alternate who covers all female parts in the show — and stopped by the NWADG office to chat with What’s Up! Associate Editor Jocelyn Murphy to discuss the fall-down-funny play. Jocelyn’s interview with Michael Thatcher, who portrays actor Robert Grove, ran in the What’s Up! section on Sunday, Nov. 10 and you can read it here.
