Join Lara Jo Hightower, Julie Gabel, director, and Emmeline Fletcher, 8-year old Junie B. Jones expert/super fan, as they talk about the upcoming production of "Junie B. Jones the Musical." Junie B. Jones is the beloved children’s fiction character created by Barbara Parks in 1992. Over the course of three decades, Parks would go on to write nearly 30 books featuring the precocious Junie. Fayetteville’s Arts Live Theatre is presenting “Junie B. Jones, the Musical”, which condenses material from four of Parks’ most popular Junie B. Jones books into a 50-minute musical with around a dozen fun and funny songs. The show runs at 7 p.m. May 2-4 and 2 p.m. on May 4-5. Tickets are $10 for children and $15 for adults. Patrons can call 521-4932 for more information or to reserve tickets.
