Dixie Longate last visited the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville two years ago with her Off-Broadway smash "Dixie's Tupperware Party." Now, "America's Sixth Favorite Redhead" returns to the WAC, virtually for "Dixie's Happy Hour." The new performance is presented as part of the Proctor & Gamble Ghost Light Programming at WAC. Longate (the drag persona of writer/actor/comedian Kris Andersson) will be mixing cocktails, regaling stories from her past, and helping viewers find their own happy hours in life during the show. Performances will stream Feb. 25-28 and March 4-7. Longate discussed the show, surviving quarantine, and more with What's Up Associate Producer Jocelyn Murphy for another What's Up podcast.
